Rowena Santos practices employment law as well as general litigation.

Ms. Santos provides clients with preventive advice and counseling on issues ranging from compliance with state and federal laws, including: The Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, preventing wrongful discharge and discrimination claims of all kinds, and protection of trade secrets. She also advises clients on a wide variety of issues including human resource matters, personnel policies, and wage and hour issues.

Ms. Santos has experience in law and motion practice and trial. She represents clients in civil actions as well as administrative charges filed with the California Department of Fair Employment & Housing, the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She has litigated employment matters, and primarily engages in the defense of employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage and hour litigation. Ms. Santos also represents companies in litigation involving unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets.

Ms. Santos received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society, and Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law. Ms. Santos is a member of the State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before all California courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
